Sorry Ivy, but I looked at the forum rules again and could not find where it said no cross posting...if you could find that specific rule and post it here I'd appreciate it...I've done it often in the past and it's never been an issue since it pertains to the forums that I'm posting at so I'm kinda confused about this rule...especially since I cannot find it listed as a no no.

IMHO - most of us w/ crohns read the crohns board and those with Anxiety read the anxiety forum and those with both read both. If someone finds something on a board not frequented by crohns members and thinks it would be helpful to us crohnies I think they should be allowed to post it here. My interpretation of "no duplicate posts" would be not to post the same thing multiple times on the crohns board. This post is very relevant to those with crohns and I am guessing most of us don't read the IBS board. I think posting from other forums should be ok... especially if we just put a link to that forums post.

The duplicate post rule also applies to posting the exact same post in different forums. If you wish to share something across multiple forums, post it in one forum and link to it in the other forums that you feel it would be pertinent to. This helps to conserve HealingWell resources.

I don't get it...how do I link to it in other forums I thought that's what I was doing basically.

Besides which, I emailed peter about it and he said it was fine to do what I did...I forwarded the emails from peter to ivy.

Anyway, I agree. Sounds something like you'd be subjected to during an alien abduction!! Kind of creepy in a couple of ways. Of course, it might also prove valuable against many things. Best to kkep an open mind..

Oh gosh ivy there are things that just aren't worth getting mad about and this is one of them, it's simply a misunderstanding and of course no hard feelings...

I think it's kinda creepy, of course it's suppose to serve a purpose but like I said (somewhere, I think on the IBS board) the thought of that thing clinging to an inflammed part of the intsetines isn't too appealing.

Imagine seeing that thing sticking out of your poop in the toilet??? It looks kinda big, I'd be concerned about it getting stuck or causing a perforation or tear somewhere in the bowels.

It's almost like it's suppose to be a bad "april fools" joke or something....cuz I don't know any sane crohnie that would opt for that thing over the traditional colonoscopy...I know I wouldn't.
