I had my colonoscopy today

The findings were and I quote "Edematous mucosa in the cecum, otherwise unremarkable mucosa in the rest of the colon and TI. Long tortuos colon." She took biopsies from the TI, cecum, right and left colon. I go tomorrow for my remicade and have to go back to the GI next week to see if I feel any better after my infusion. In the mean time they are starting the process of getting insurance approval for the capsule study since all of my pain is on the right side and that is only way my disease was every seen previously.

Hi Jodi I had some problem in the cecum area too . Hope things work out the way you want them to with the insurance. lol gail

Thanks all. I did puke a little from the prep but all in all it wasn't so bad with the Miralax. I am glad the doc told me to start the prep at noon instead of 3pm as indicated on the instruction sheet her office gives out. The bms didn't start until around 6:30/7pm but kept me up until about 3am. Next time I'm starting at 9:00am.
