fluttering after ilecectomy, have you every experienced?

I've had two resections -- 1993, 2005 with a laparotomy with adhesion release in 2002 that should have been a resection (my symptoms returned within five months). So I sort of follow that principle but -- and it's a big but. With new medications and changing standards of care, I believe that if you are appropriately managed (treat inflammation even though symptoms might be mild) you can significantly slow down the formation of the scars that lead to stenotic fibrosis of the bowel and eventually obstruction.

As to the fluttering, yes I get this and it usually correlates to my disease activity. When I am really well, I experience it only rarely. As i begin to relapse it becomes more noticable and more frequent and when I'm really sick, I have so much activity going on I feel like I'm six, seven months pregnant. And I don't mean the flutter of butterfly wings, I mean arms and legs poking and prodding.

I would have that after my resection. It felt like a cell phone vibrating inside me. I was thinking it was some nerves or something mending.
