Swollen lymph glands/Humira

about a month ago I noticed a lump at the base of my skull just behind my right ear. At my last DR visit I alerted the Doc to it and he checked it and said it was a swollen lymph gland and that I need to keep a very close eye on it and call right away if it becomes larger or begins to hurt etc. I am just curious if anyone else taking humira or Remicade may be experiencing the same thing. Maybe I just worry way too much :)

I'd be sure to watch this closely. Not sure if it's the same thing but my daughter developed drug induced lupus after several years on Remicade. She had lumps - mostly on her arms and legs that felt like bruises but didn't hurt or discolor. They would come and go.

Once she got off the Remicade her lupus symptoms disappeared. We've been hesitant to try Humira because of her reaction to Remicade.

I've been on Humira since December and have been experiencing the same symptoms. I have joint pain now, swollen glands in my neck and head, and I am tired all of the time. I have no idea what is causing this, and I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow because I'm getting a little worried about it.

Hi Lynn Sure hope things are going better for you. I know a person finds it hard sometimes when we are not sure what is going on with us. What is going on with your drug induced lupus now ?Are the symnptoms going away yet? Sure good for people to have a heads up on the lumps. Keep in touch. lol gail
