Welcome Lybarnes, OH I sOooooo feel for you! My tailbone was broken during the birth of my first child. YoWeEEE that took a very long time to heal and I still have trouble with it sometimes (35 years ago). I spent years sitting on one leg or the other, sitting Indian style, or leaned forward (very lady-like LOL). Actually wearing a skirt or dress makes it easier to sit like that because the dress (if it is long enough and full enough, will cover the fact that you are sitting on one leg). Ice will likely be the star for a long time. *Sighhhhhh* You can take a man's tube sock and fill it half to 3/4 full with rice, dry beans, or whole feed corn. Fold the top down about 1/4 inch and sew it shut securely. Pop that puppy in the freezer and you have a nice cold pack. You'll want to have two or more because you can use them in the microwave too to have a cold pack. I have several and use them all summer to stay cool. I made mine out of upholstery fabric so they just look like long skinny pillows when they are sitting around the house. I hope you get some other good suggestions. Blessings!
