severe burning pain in my achilles

After only two doses of Cipro, I had severe burning pain in my achilles tendons and my ankles swelled to about twice their normal size.
I am scared to death to take anything now. Had I not immediately stopped taking it, who knows what might have happened? Guess what my doctor wanted me to try instead of Cipro? You guessed it- Levaquin. I have seen 4 doctors and none of them have given any credence to my symptoms that I experienced from this drug. I got the 'ol, "It's generally well-tolerated" line.

The blacklist on this drug is 20 years too late. FDA is worthless.
