grants for disabled people

hi, I was wondering if any of ya'll know if there is any grants out there for people that are disabled with crohns. After suffering from 5 flareups last year (4 of those requiring me to go to the hospital), I have been classified as "disabled". I tried to get federal student aid to go back to school (so that I could have a "sit down job"), but I was denied because I receive too much money a month (even though I can barely live on it). I have done internet searches on the subject, but have gotten nowhere. I am thinking of going to school for radiologic technology. If any of ya'll have dealt with any grants and can lead me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

There was a scholarship through USB/Crohns and Me but I hadn't heard of the one that Broom is referring to through the CCFA. You could check with your state education board or future school's financial aid dept.
