I had my first colon resection 1 week ago. I feel as though I am doing really well. THey were able to do it laproscopically and I was home 4 days after the surgery. I felt great on Sunday but monday I woke with pain in the area of the resection . It feels almost like a muscle cramp or pulling. It seems to come and go and it makes it hard to even stand up straight. It is always really bad after I have been sitting for a while or first thing in the morning. After I get up and walk it out, it seems to go away and then return whenever. Other than this happening, everything seems to be great. I guess I am struggling with what is "normal". What kind of pain is typical?
Any suggestions or help would be great.
