He said it was optional, but it's something I'm used to actually. I've been involved with the Japanese culture and people a pretty big portion of my life, and wearing that mask during cold/flu season is perfectly normal in that society so I just take it for granted that that's what people do during that kind of season. Plus, I've had far too many people sitting far enough(or so I thought) away in class only to have them direct their coughing/hacking/wheezing RIGHT IN MY FACE. Somehow this is accomplished even when they are several seats away and behind me.
That's interesting about your professor though..I like that..
To crohnspatient13-percocet gives you nausea?? That's terrible!! Is there no other pain killer your doctor can give you? Or maybe you could try ginger and green tea..I know that ginger is a natural remedy for nausea if you can tolerate it. My mother used to give me gingerale when I was younger to relieve stomach problems and it generally worked at least to alleviate it a little bit.
