Do take things easy.
Remind yourself that this energy you are feeling is FALSE. It is caused by the pred. If you over-do it, your body will take strength from your fat/muscles (usually we can't afford to lose this) to keep itself going at that break-neck pace, and you won't notice the depletion because the pred makes you feel so energetic.
Slow down and work slowly up to doing more active things.
