Emotions affect me, too.
I also have trouble if someone else is driving. I prefer to be in control. Then I can get myself where I need to be as quickly as I need it. Husband likes to drive leisurely, looking around at the countryside. I prefer to drive and get there, get what I need and get home. He just doesn't seem to understand this need? phobia? compulsive reaction? and it makes me more nervous to be away from where I want to be (close to a bathroom) and his driving slow does not help at all.

I *can* run, but "can" and "want to deal with the unpleasant side effects" are two very different things indeed.
(although I run a short distance every morning so I don't miss the darn bus!
