I guess I am now officially off all of these types of drugs, since I've had so many side effects with Remicade and Humira....but I wonder if anyone else has had bone pain on Humira? I've been on it for about
3 months now, and the day after my injection a week ago, I started developing pain which feels like it's deep in my bones. The first day, I thought it was serum sickness. I had the all-over feeling of bad pain, could hardly walk, etc., but the following day, the widespread pain faded, and I was left with extreme pain like I had never felt before. It's in my skins, down my shin bone; in my arms, from deep in my shoulder, under my clavicle, down the bone in my upper arm, and on the outside of my forearm; in my knees; and in 2 spots in my back. It hurts to be touched on my skin in these areas, and it's also painful to move my arms forward or back, and to lay on them. It's not like any joint pain or any other pain I've felt before. My GI only has me on Humira, so she has no idea, and she's running a bunch of bloodwork.
I'm hoping that since my Crohn's is in remission, and since I've been feeling pretty good since going gluten free, tht I'll be ok. I'm still on all the pills, and can go back on the other things like bentyl and levbid if need be. I've had so many things start happening since starting Humira that I'm kind of glad to be going off of it, like major hair loss, low-grade fevers, constant vaginal infections, more night sweats, more cluster headaches, low blood pressure (I've had high blood pressure for 3 years and take 2 pills a day for it), weird, dry, scaly patches of skin on my thighs and butt cheeks, swollen and painful feet every night, and weird temperature changes all the time (go from freezing to sweating and back again in minutes). That's too much to put up with!
Please tell me this is from Humira and not something I should be worrying about! LOL Thanks!!!
