One thing that I've been doing to help with cravings, especially around the holidays, is to do some cooking and baking on my own, but only making things that don't hurt me! I used to make a yummy double choclate-orange fudge cake around Christmas, but that has since fallen by the way side. Now I make carrot cakes, banana bread, and other things that are semi-healthy, but more important they usually don't cause GI distress. It is a trial and error thing, but the good thing about the holidays is that if you make something that you don't want around the house, take it into work...people are more than happy get rid of something for you. Of course, I don't take my failed experiments in to work, but I don't have too many of those.
Now if I could only find some caramels or mini-Butterfingers that don't end up making me regret eating them...candy is so hard to resist.
