Should I be worried?

Ok so I was just released from the hospital 3 days ago, I had a bowel resection, and I also developed a c diff infection while I was in the hospital, throughout the entire time I was there I had horrible D. Now since being home and actually eating food I have not had one BM, I know my stomach was pretty much empty the entire time I was in the hospital and it would take a little bit before I actually had a BM after putting food into my body...but Ive gone from one extreme to the other. Am I just healed? Or should I be worried? I'm not having stomach cramps or nausea so I dont think I have a blockage or anything, but its kind of weird to go from constant D to not having a BM for 3 days, I'm going to call my GI tomorrow to ask, but has anyone else had something like this happen before?

When I got out of the hospital I didn't have a BM for a few days either, although I have a colostomy which is going to be reversed.

But everything comes out the same anyways right lol? But yeah if you aren't having any pain or discomfort more than likely there isn't a blockage or anything.

I know when i had a blockage I'd go 3-4 days w/o a BM, and then have horrible D.

But yeah it's definately something you might want to check out.

But I'm sure everything is fine
