Entocort and fevers?

Anyone that is having fevers chronically ever found an this to be a side effect of Entocort? Wondering if it is just a side effect of the annoying disease or if it is coming from something. This is the first time I have used Entocort as maintenance instead of short term.

Anyone???

I was on Entocort EC for about 6 weeks. In the 5th week or so, I had bad fevers. I went to the hospital and they gave me hydrocortisone through via tube (like an IV) into my anus. It helped reduce the blood I was having, but I still was bleeding.

In a long term Entocort study of 145 people, greater than 2% and less than 5% reported fever as a side eefect of the Entocort. So yes it is possible that Entocort caused your fever. In my experience, when a medication causes a fever, the fever occurs every time the medication is taken. I get a fever of over 102 degrees every time I take macrodantin, an antibiotic.
