Thanks for all your guys input. Would love to know how everyone gets by everyday when it comes to cravings and how you shut them out. I am addicted to bread, like I said and can't seem to give it up.
I just ignore my cravings, I guess. I used to be a terrible junk food junkie. But I know that stuff like sugar and gluten are bad for me. Plus the fear of obstructions and surgery motivates me to eat healthy.
You could find a substitution. If you want to remove gluten, make/buy bread and crackers made without wheat flour. If you want to avoid grains altogether, there are a lot of good nut flour breads and whatnot. The other night, I used a souffle bread for my hamburger bun, and also used it for my grilled cheese.
