Gail, I'm not sure, but I think Ides also had to have a brain scan done. She was having visual disturbances, due I think
to her lupus. I know she was concerned what the outcome was gonna be....
So Ides if you're looking in, we thinking of you (((hugs)))

Gail and Vicky,
Navy is correct. I have been around sporadically. I have only posted sparingly. I was very ill will bronchitis/pneumonia. I was down for four days with a fever of 101-102. When the antibiotic finally kicked in the cough did not magically disappear. Not only has the cough disrupted all my sleep but my breathing is not good. A week out from starting the antibiotic and I still get very short of breath. I coughed so hard I did something to my vocal cords. For several days I sounded like Minnie Mouse on helium.
The great news is that I do have a BRAIN!!!!! I have a MRI that says so! I showed my kids because often they ask me where was my brain when I say or do something off-the-wall. The MRI shows that I have some small scattered areas of ischemia most likely due to inflammatory problems associated with either the lupus or other of my autoimmune diseases. There is more testing that can be done to try to determine the cause of my visual changes. That would be a CT of my eyeballs. However the neuro-ophthamologist and I decidedd there is no rush and I need time to get better and also try to enjoy the holidays.
I so appreciate your care and concern. It really does mean a lot to me that you care. I am sorry I didn't see this sooner. I hope you are doing well.
Ides
PS The hemorrhoid is currently minding its manners. I will be presenting it to the GI when I see him next because it has to go.

Good to hear from you Ides. I guess if they've decided there's no rush, maybe it's not so bad.
I have been thinking of you LOL

Ides, I'm so glad for you that nothing bad showed up in your MRI. I'm sure you were worried.
Thinking of you and sending you lots of healing vibes,
Ivy.

Hi Ides finally someone who is presenting a hemmie to there GI Hmm will be waiting to see how he responds to that. Hope those antibotics kick in and you start getting better. So it is possible for us to have a brain well that is good to know and hope things go well for your next adventure. I am going to the Dr. today to talk about
my hemmie but haven't a clue what to tell her. Using the old form of cure witch hazel for now which does seem to help a bit and even getting up off my saddle to exercise more. Oh well will see how it goes today.
Do keep well and have a good holiday. lol gail
