Things I have to do:

* basics - make bed, do & stay on top of dishes, tidying. No gardening because I'm in crisis craft mode here.
* shine my kitchen and bedroom "sinks"
* finish decoration #3 and start on #4
* visit neighbours with gifts
* wrap last generic present
* exercise and stretch
* REST!!!

Things I want to do:
* cook another nourishing meal for fridge & freezer
* get hair off legs

Try to:
* get to church, either for a quick office visit or to the evening Eucharist

I'm writing this on Tuesday night and may pop back tomorrow with changes and / or updates.

Stay calm, everyone...

Well it's Christmas Eve here so I have lot's to do today:
vacuum and mop floors
defrost meat to roast
prepare any food that can be done today
one last trip to the supermarket - eek
and Im sure there will be more that crops up throughout the day

8.50 am. Made the bed, done the dishes, exercised. Am starting decoration #4 - will work on it while finishing #3.

It's still only 7:13 Tuesday, but I have a few things for tomorrow..:

-get ingredients for Christmas dinner dessert
-wash large quilt
-clear out pantry of 'illegal' food
-sort and purge papers found in a bag hiding behind my door...
-make sure bedroom is straightened for fiance's grandmother visiting
-keep everything in order so I can return to a clean apartment after spending the night at mum's

Best of luck to you guys with yours. May it be as stress free as possible :) I'd like to think we'll all have a very happy holiday...

LMills, what country are you in? I thought you were American, but I wonder now after seeing that you say "Mum" instead of "Mom". We're "Mum"mers here in Australia, too.

Anyway, it's 11.30. I've wrapped the generic present, driven (!) out to church and back, and have been to see one neighbour. Will do some more this afternoon. Am madly embroidering right now :-)

am still trying to wrap prezzzies for tomorrow-
wednesday: work 9-4
travel to aunties to visit cousins
go home and pick up wonder dog
travel to friend's house to spend xmas eve and xmas day
perhaps wait until xmas day to go to friends house as i can barely hold my head up and miles to go before i sleep

I'm American but exposure to a lot of different cultures has given my mother 'mum' 'okaasan' 'haha' 'ma' etc. Just a habit I suppose :)

Glad to hear you got those things done! I love to embroider...working with your hands can be so therapeutic...
I still didn't buy forgotten groceries e_e

I'm snowed in, so not much I can do. Last of the packing and maybe bake some cookies. Otherwise, I just need to relax and not stress about not being where I should be.

Woohoo! I've finished the four decorations! Talk about stressful - I feel as if I've just sat a round of horrible end of year exams.

I've also visited the neighbours, but now have a v messy house and have to eat a quick dinner and maybe get to church. Oh, and just to make things more fun, I've just found out that I should cook something for tomorrow's function. I did ask a week ago and got no reply, so assumed that the answer was no, I needn't. I haven't even shopped for festive cooking, so whatever I bring is going to have to be something that can be made quickly with whatever I have in the pantry. Hmmm.

How deep is the snow, inflamed? Do you have food there? Are you safe?

LMills, did you travel around a lot as a child, or do you live in a very multicultural area?

Survivor, I hope you can get some rest.
