Okay I have been on Remicade since August of this year. The only side effects I have experience are headaches and little body aches. I got a sinus infection ,then a sore throat. I got a cold and didn't pay any attention. Now I have barking(coughing) like a dog(I sound just like one) for a month!!! I received a packet from Remicade yesterday and coughing, sinus infection, and sore throat are listed as side effects. But I want to know is it normal to be coughing for a month? Has this ever happen to you? Should I go to the doctor? Only thing change is I received    1,045 mg of Remicade instead of 500 mg.

Hi If your coughing is brininging up phylem you might want to get it checked. Hope you feel better soon.With the Rem. I know your supposed to keep an eye on colds. lol gail

Yes, I think you should go to a doctor. It could be one of a number of things.

Your ability to fight these types of infections is diminished. I had a cold for a good solid month. Started to turn into a sinus infection. Had to go to the Doctor. They prescribed Nasocort AQ. Good stuff. Go to the doctor. It wont go away on its own after a month.

My throat bothered me the entire time I was on remicade until about two months after my last infusion. It is just now starting to feel normal again, going on three months since stopping. I think if I would have kept up with the infusions this is just something I would have continued to have from it. I had a bunch of other problems from it too, that's why I stopped it.
