sniper X-Mass update

  Hope you guys had a great holiday. We had a great time. Got to hold the newest member of the family, our one week old niece. My wifes mom holding her with the family around,,,now thats a Christmas moment. Ate some good food . Had some good weather and rode my Harley through the hills. My old gut did not give me much trouble though when shopping I spend a lot of time sneaking outside to release green house gasses into the ozone layer. This soon became old so I started carefully leaving noxious fumes down the isles for unsuspecting shoppers to find. I am sure that when the final inventory is done , they will blame the economy for sales being down for certain scented candles and snack foods, but I will know better. I know for certain that some unlucky husband did not get the camo shirt he wanted because the wife thought there was no way she was going to wash the smell out. HO HO Holly Mackerel....Whats the point of having a weapon of mass destruction if you dont use it ??? Anyway, I warned you I'd be back....

Ahhh, Sniper! So good to see you posting w/your usual good humor! Glad to hear you had a good Christmas. We did too. Still haven't seen my great grandson in the flesh but got some great pictures of him!!! Granddaughter's knee surgery on the 23rd went well and she's recouperating nicely w/full recovery expected. I got a neat, new radidio for my car! It plays a flash drive! I've been busy downloading all my stored music on my 'puter to a 4 gig flash drive. That 4 gig should get me all the way to Lexington, KY or even Rochester, Minnesota w/o listening to the same song twice!!!! Happy New Year, to you and yours, special crohnie!!!!

No Rando, she is much cuter than the dogs. Plus, she did not spend the week sniffin my butt like a certain rat terrier. I think I even got to the dog a few times. Had it trying to bury its nose outside.
C2, that sounds like a neat gadget . Best of all, no commercials or crappy DJ talk. I find sometimes that I can run the whole dial on my radio and not find any music. Just talk.

Had a pretty good holiday myself.  I did however have much the same problem as you.  Had to escape the crowd every now and then.  Did real well with all the food except some nasty soy egg nog that didn't like me too much.  Christmas babies are so special aren't they.  I gave my son and daughter in law green M&M's in their stocking...just to drop yet another hint for the first grandchild.  Not too sure my son knows it but that girl has a plan...she stopped her birth control about 5 weeks ago .

sucked me in again, eh? well, you bailed on that last thread where i asked you if that rain you had was kinda warm??? it seems the snow around yer dollie got yeller somehow. since we're blamin' things on dogs here, i guess it must have been a dog .......

as a matter of fact, my next door neighbor and i are kickin' em tomorrow. most of the snow is gone and the streets are finally dry. highs in the 40's tomorrow.......i'm ridin!!!

margie, ya really shouldn't rag on sniper about spelling. why, i've seen him misspell two letter words. he's real sensitive about it (at least he's sensitive about me bringing it up). his 'poetry' actually begins as prose, and through misspellings, punctuation and a host of other grammatical errors, accidentally becomes a work of art (geez, speaking of freaks of nature..........that millionth monkey in the room with paint and canvas).

not funny, gail! lol actually, i used to have a snowblower attachment for my garden tractor. so, i guess you could say i rode my snowblower. the problem with that is you HAVE to sit there in one position regardless of which way the wind is blowing. most of the snow ended up 'coating' me! i inherited a walk behind when my mom passed away and when i need to use power, that's the one i use.

today, they are adding 35mph winds to the forecast.......bummer!........normally wind alone wouldn't stop me from riding........not even wind and

'cold'............but there's so much salt rock and sand on the streets that it's treacherous enough without the added dimension of strong winds pushing you sideways. oh well, we'll see later on. whatever happens, at least i'm going to go out and start it. i wish i could start all of them, but i've taken the batteries out of them all except the harley.

I understand vv my little electric one blows on me too sometimes ,I am getting better skilled at it, but sometimes I take the shortcut. I bought a couple of face mask to wear and now it is better ,storm coming in on New Year's so more fun on the way. I bet Sniper is planning a New Year's event as we write hmmm wander what's in his mind.lol gail

it's 40 degrees, and the wind hasn't started yet, and i just got back from my ride. way too much sand on the streets to go far. after putting 12,000 on in the last 2 years, i'm getting close to needing new tires...........'course, you'll prolly never experience that with yer 'showpiece'! i forgot to ask,.........do you have fringe on those chaps that you need because it's so nice down there? chaps, windshield, heated saddlebags..........what a flower! i bet if you had a snowblower, you'd prolly put tassels on the handlebars!

well, gail, at least with a walk behind, you can stand off to either side when the wind is blowing. speaking of wind, most of our warm up has been due to 'hot air' blowing up from louisiana..............

but then, don't let him kid you, he's been dealing with cold and sleet from up here getting down there, even to him.
