NO surgery this time, thank goodness. He wants me back onto Pentasa, I don't think it'll do much good, it didn't last time, but
I have nothing else to take... He says we're playing a waiting game.

The second round of DNA for lupus, came back positive, so I guess that's a for sure. Right now the low dose pred is keeping the
pain in my joints down. So I guess, unless it start to effect me elsewhere I should be ok.

Next week I have to see the pancreatic specialist. I just hope that's behaving LOL

Hi Vicky glad the surgery is not for now but was hoping the lupus wasn't in your future. Hugs and good thoughts .Keep my fingers crossed that the pancreas is doing good. How much pred are you on now? It seem to help me when I was on it for a short time. Was worried about going a 5 day at 40 for five days then off with no taper but I did find a site where I could listen to Dr.s talking that said a person could go 2 weeks without tapering. So was feeling better about that. Has entrocort ever been any good for you? lol gail

(((VICKY))) glad to hear no surgery in the future right now. I too am sorry to hear about the lupus diagnosis. Sending my prayers and good thoughts to you that the pancreas is behaving.

Hey Vicky, No surgery is at least some good news isn't it , how are you feeling today, still got those back pains? I hope its settled down a little and you were able to enjoy the start of the New year.

Gail, I've been on entocort & didn't make any difference...

Tess, yes I'm glad there's no surgery, but things haven't changed. Still feeling as wasted as before. We went to my sisters New Years Eve,
but we left at 10.30, I couldn't manage anymore.
I'm actually glad the holiday season is finished. This year I really wasn't looking forward to any of it. That's unusual for me, because I love
Christmas...

I've actually been talking to Keith, I think we need a change in our lives. Moving to Florida, has always been on my mind, but leaving family
has always stopped me, but sometimes I really think I need to put me first for a change, but that goes against my grain.. Oh well, back to dreaming!!
