Hey everyone.. been awhile.  Hope all had a nice holdiay.

I have now had my  fourth 'cut" like tear at the part of the rectum where you sit on the toilet.  It hurts to sit. Would this be considered a fissure?  What can I do to ease the pain when I sit down?  It started this summer and has reoccured now for the fourth time.

Is it oozing anything, prof? Do you feel a mass, or pressure, behind the cut?

When you say that this is the fourth time this has happened, do you mean that it has healed up and then reopened each time?

Have you shown it to your doctor?

You mean the anus (the rectum is just inside the anus, the anus being your actual butt hole)...and if that's where it is then yes, that would likely be a fissure...do lots of epsom salt sitz baths and see your doc about it asap.

The crack is in the spot where i sit on the bowl... makes it hard to sit..

So it's like on the cheek part of your fanny? You really should get that checked out immediately if possible.
