Quick Question!! HELP!!!

Hi! New to the forum and have noticed that I have many symptoms of Crohn's. I am scheduled for upper GI with small bowel follow through on tuesday. I was just wondering if anyone here has experienced burping with a very strong sulphur smell?? I know it's weird but it's really driving me crazy. Doesn't happen all teh time but it seem to coinscide with the D and cramping and nausea. Please help!! Any advice?? Lots of pain on my right side just under my ribs. I am so bloated and swollen I look pregnant!!

That happened with me because I have a hiatal hernia so when I burped it would be stomach acid among other things. Not only did it taste/smell terrible but it did burn.
As for the swollen areas, are you having difficulty passing gas or using the restroom in general? You may have an obstruction of sorts. Anyway, it's good that you're going in and having things looked at! I hope they find out what is going on soon so you can start feeling better.

I am not having trouble going. If anything, I am going to often. Everytime I try to eat within minutes I have to run to the bathroom. I get the worst cramps with this. I am always tired and just generally always feel bad.

Hi Welcome to Healing Well and yes I did have alot of burping at one time before my abcess was found and it seemed pretty constant. Could be gallbladder problems with the pain under your right rib. Let us know how your test go and glad you joined us. lol gail
