Protein gene hsp70-2 is linked with severe cases of Crohn's. I think they're on to something definitely if they can coax the molecular chaperones to reuptake misshapen proteins and fix them..
I'm just excited by new research like this. I really believe we can use our bodies' naturally existing functions to our advantage.

Heeeeey.... Maybe by the time I become a biochemist there will already be a cure for Crohn's! :D...

Celey..I didn't know you were going to be a biochemist! I'm majoring in microbiology myself..hopefully will be a doctor, BUT I figure if I can't handle the hours and stress of residency then I will be a medical researcher specializing in immunology and/or virology(it's hard for me to choose..).
Maybe we'll be working on the same project in the future. I could only hope there will be a cure by the time we graduate, but, if not, I'd like to help work on it. And things like the contents of this article are just too exciting.
