Hey everyone I made it through sugery. I was in sugery for three hours. The crohns had made my small intestine have an abcess on it. Thats why I kept hurting all the time. So my dr. took the infected part off and reconnected it to my colon. Everything went as well as it could have. My dr. was very pleased with everything...and I didn't have to have the bag (pouch) at all. So I was very pleased. I had to stay in the hospital for one week (very grueling) I was so ready to come home. So far everything has been great besides being all sore from being cut. I have 17 staples in my stomach. I was cut from the top to the bottom of my stomach. I am very sore but it's getting better day by day...I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers....I appreciate it very much.....
