hey i was just wondering does anyone else seem to find that they go from D then to constipation? Some days i am having up to 5-6 small bowel movements they are formed but frequentish. i'm not constipated in the sense that i havent gone for days or weeks, more like it's hard to pass and i get the painful D urgency but it's not D. if any of this makes sense?! does anyone else experience the pain when needing to have a BM?

Yup, I'm with you there. During the "painful" times, I need to use Canasa suppositories because my rectum and and surrounding area are so inflamed, it's almost, and sometimes completely, impossible for me to "go". Those are the times when I can only wish I had D! Depending on how long these times last for you, and if they go away on their own, or if you need to medicate because of it, I would mention this to your doctor. Or I would mention it to your doctor anyway before it turns into something worse... I was in the hospital last month because of something similar...not fun...

I always had C with my Crohn's but have gotten to be more regular now.  I would not go to the bathroom for a week and then have a very urgent need to go, but it wasn't D usually.  Just seems like it built up for a week and then decided it had to come out right away.

for a while I had the cycle, two three days of no movement and then an exodus. From high volume dwindling down to 'why did I need to go in first place?' But as my Crohn's gets worse, my D does too. I'm getting older I guess.

i have been like this the last three days i have to go many times a day but nothing or really little comes :S but i feel the need to go like 10 times a day..
And i seem to have more gas with this..

I am one of those that also has C for 5-6 days and then it switches to D and then back to C.  I corrected it by taking miralax every day so I now have a bowel movement.
