Since shingles is often triggered by a weak immune system, it makes sense that Humira and Remicade use might bring it on.
My dad had shingles a couple of years ago and while painful, it wasn't life threatning and he healed within a week.
Humira saved me from surgery and gave me my life back so shingles isn't a risk worth giving that up. That said, I may ask my GI next time I see him if he recommends the shingles vaccine.
BTW - I was on Remicade 2.5 years and have been on Humira for 2 years.
