is there a connection between low body temperature and crohn's? my temp seems to stay between 35.5-36 degrees or so but rarely reaches 37? i am underweight at the moment is that makes a difference?

I guess you're in Europe, due to your low body temperature! Having from 36 and to 37 something is considered being within the normal range.

I always run a low temperature. Mine is usually about 97.4, when it gets to 99 I have fever and can generally tell somethings up.

Mine is the same as Nanners, at least it was during my 6 day hospital stay.

Same as Nanners here too. All last week I was 97.3. I've always been this way, with the low body temp. I remember arguing with nurses in school when I was a kid who would tell me that 99 wasn't enough of a fever to go home with, but I feel full-on flu-like when I hit 99.

i'm actually from australia. But it's not hot at the moment anymore. So it's normal then to run low?

I'm same as Nanners. Helps out living in Arizona though when temps get and stay over 100 F for months on end. Doesn't take me much to cool down. However, when I run around 99, I feel HORRID...and just as stated previously, I know something is up. (and I ain't really that skinny either...)

Yes, mine always runs low. Normal is about 96.6 so at 99 I feel like crap, but try explaining that to my doctors. I was running a "temp" for a couple of weeks in February, but not according to them so they didn't need to treat the unrelenting bronchitis. That was until I coughed so much I broke a rib!
