Thank you for your suggestions regarding strictures and diet. My GI has me on Miralax to help with the passing of stools, because they are soft, but I have trouble going. I wonder if the stool softener would be better, even though my stools are soft already? Are your stools soft, or do you have hard stools? Sorry for all the expicit question/answers!! They are softer but semi formed. If I don't take the stool softners they get really hard and painful to pass. So I always take them. If things get too soft, I don't take them for a day. But will need to for sure take them the following day. Hope that helps.
