Combo. of Pentasa and Asacol?

Do any of you all take both Pentasa and Asacol?  I started taking Pentasa after a year of Asacol and my pain still being under my ribcage and across my stomach.  I have been on the Pentasa for about  a mo and a half and now the blood is back in my BM's.  It is red, therefore I know it has to be toward the end of my bowel and now I am wondering if a combo of the 2 would work best.  I know I may be jumping a head of myself, however when I saw the blood this morning I was worried because I had only had 1 "D" day since I started on the immunsuppressent, endocort and pentasa.  As of last Thurs, last Sat was the only day I wasn't crampy and "D" (or very soft BM's). Oh and my bloodwork from last mo showed my iron up to 11 and my CBC at 12.5. 

I agree with Gumby! These are the same meds and release in different areas of the intestine. I would think that maybe another med might be a better option for you.
