shakehead  Haven't had that happen in a while. You know, where you think it's just gonna be gas, then oops? I was on my way to the bathroom too, because I felt a little crampy. But had no idea it was gonna be diahrrea, and so watery! So now I'm washing my carpet, my clothes. Had to take a shower to clean up, and I feel like crap now. That tired drained feeling ya get when you have D, and my guts just feel sore in there.

Not flaring that I know of. I took my meds a little late today, so maybe that's it. Or maybe it was that new recipe of Chicken Pot Pie I made last night. Either way, sure stinks! nono

My aunt just e-mailed this long joke about a job interview. There were 3 guys interviewing for the position, and the manager decided that he would ask them all the same question and hire whichever had the best answer.

The manager asked them all for the FASTEST thing they could think of.

Guy #1 answered "A blink... it happens so fast you don't even notice..."

Guy #2 answered "Light."

"That's pretty good... the speed of light..." thought the manager.

Then guy #3 piped in with his answer.

"DIARRHEA!" he shouts. "When I have diarrhea, before I can think, blink, or turn on a light I'VE MESSED MY PANTS."

I have to agree.

I've had this happen twice this week, just as I make it to the bathroom - I hate the clean up!
Hopefully it was just what you ate Jen :)

When I first was sick my favorite accident was when someone put down the toilet lid late at night so I, being used to it being "open for business", run in and never even look

Yikes! I've had accidents in some pretty odd places...on the side of the highway (thankfully made it into the trees before it "hit the fan"), on an apartment balcony, and once I was rushing down the steps to get the toilet when I tripped, tumbled down the flight, severely sprained my right ankle, and well you can imagine the rest!

Oh I was so happy that I was home. Doing that in public would be a nightmare. Stinks because my bathroom really wasn't that far from me. Guess I need to carry a portable around with me. ;)

I so agree with that joke too. LOL This is the only group where I know people understand!

I'm sorry that happened...the same thing happened to me one morning except I knew what was going to happen if I didn't get there in time and I didn't...it's just really fortunate you were home at least!

Thanks for the chuckles before bed. I swear I have embarrassing accidents so much I can laugh in the moment. You have some good ones. I'll share the other day I was driving home and started to speed because ..well.. I was hoping to get home in time... but I hit the red light and that settled that dash. Then on the next section of road the policeman stopped me to give me a ticket and said I was going over the limit. I told him I was really sick and trying to get home and didn't realize how fast I was going. He must have believed me (don't know how he couldn't with the whole car smelling quite strong) and he let me go. I could go on longer but it's my bedtime. Night and hope everyone has sweet dreams.

Too funny. My older sister was here visiting me. She was trying to make me feel better and told me about having an accident after eating McDonalds. She doesnt have crohn's..lol   It had to do with a very wet fart....****          I think McDonalds gives evry1 the trotts..lol     It did give me a good chuckle But only bcuz she could laugh about it too. I had an accident at work. Im a flagger and I wear bright yellow cover alls.  I left my machines in the middle of the road and ran to the gas station where I had to cut off my long johns and underwear. Thank god it didnt seep through the coveralls!!  It was terrible. I have anxiety attacks now.   Love my sister for trying...lol

I've found it most uncomfortable when driving - especially because you have to sit in it.  Thank god I wasn't stopped for anything.  The fear of it happening creates terrible anxiety.

I agree... My worst fear is in the auto.
Dripping in sweat, almost up on two wheels
around corners... Then the red light... The
car seat will never be the same...
But falling down a flight of stairs...

Just yesterday when I dropped my son off at school in the morning I knew I wasn't gonna make the fairly short drive home in time so I pulled into a stall in the parking lot that I drop him off at and did my thing in my port-o-potty that I have in the back of my van...that thing has saved my arse a few times that's for sure....as much as I don't like using it, it's so much better than going in your pants (been there and done that too).

Oh yes in the car is awful, especially if others are in the car with you! Nightmare! I used to wear depends quite a bit when going out in case of that. Wish I had a port-o-potty!

Sorry you had an accident Jen. It happens to us all and sometime when we dont even know it. Hope you feel better soon..
