confused.....

Hi I have just been to see my GI and he informed me that the blood test for Chron's came back negative...however chances are that I have chron's disease he is 70% sure....and the fact that my levels of inflamation are down from 60 to 20 shows that the meds seem to be working now please tell me if I am being too hopeful but should there not be another test that they can do to confirm Chron's? I am at the end of my tether I have lost over 3 kg in 2 weeks he didn't seem to bothered by that and said that I might put the weight back on. while I never had diarriah previous to going into hospital I have nevere had constipation but now it seems that I have constipation I am so confused and am going back to the UK for a second opinion on Monday.....and will hopefully see a specialist next week sometime....

PLEASE can anybody help me here, I so want to be rediagnosied with a chronic illness....

I hate to tell you, some of us are never diagnosed for sure, or we are diagnosed and then undiagnosed. I try to focus more on symptoms and assume I will never know what the diagnosis is. however, the pill cam is a really good idea. do all the tests you can, see what happens, and try to not panic. things will make sense when all the pieces are put together. yp
