Hi all i need some info please

I had a temporary stoma done in jan all was ok but these last few days i have had the urge to go for a # 2 i sit on the loo and actually go!! is that normal when my bum its not attached to anything at the moment it was just like old times!!!!! any info would be great ta.

It can happen from time to time. If it keeps up and you have poo (not just mucus) then I think a call to the doc is in order. Better safe than sorry.

normal.. even when not hooked up, mucus builds up and also you will get some cell transfer from the blood supply to the rectum area . it builds up and triggers the 'going" signal.. maybe even some old blood from the surgery..
