My belly has a mind of its own!

Hey, guys, I have been experiencing some wierd sensations in my abdomen lately.  Over the past few weeks, I occasionally have these feelings in my belly (lower-right, where I had my resection) that feel eerily similar to movements you feel when you're pregnant and the baby is kicking.  Wierd, I know!  But I am 100% sure I'm not pregnant right now, so I'm wondering what it is.  I thought it could just be gas bubbles, but it's consistently in the same spot everytime.  Could there be something else going on?  Anyone else experience this type of thing? Thanks ahead for any comments/advice!

I TOTALLY know the feeling. I used to get it near my stricture. The were times it seemed like I should be able to see my stomach moving. Mine just went away. I never figured out a pattern to it.

I have not had a resection myself but it probably is gas (maybe even food) like you mentioned that you're feeling...I too have flet gas move through me in different ways and one of those ways sometimes does feel like a baby moving inside (I've been pregnant so I recognize that feeling) and when not pregnant I have felt a similar feeling like it's mimicing a baby's movement.

If you're really concerned though (especially with having a resection) definintely mention it to your doc.

I've had 2 resections, and I know the feeling you're talking about. I can tell when the food I've eaten has gotten to the surgery area because my stomach makes more noise and I can feel it moving through. It is a bizarre feeling though.
