I am :)

I just came from my doc yesterday and I was complaining about being always sleepy. If I do something that requires energy I sometimes have to sleep the whole day after.
I don’t have any vitamin defeasances but I have been having a little more D than usual.

I have recently started volunteering for my local basketball club and it is so fun. But it sucks all my energy. I am on the score board and that is not that hard work but I just sleep and sleep the whole day after. I would really like to keep on doing stuff like this, does it get better or do I need to clear my calendar every time I do something that requires just a little effort.

What do you do about being sleepy, do you just sleep or something else?

I just got back from a seven and a half hour shift...I am tired!!!!
I just sit down and relax and/or sleep :)

I just fight it off, I'm not letting this disease take control. I also exercise daily to build my energy up. Seems to work as I'm not nearly as tired as I used to be.

I feel tired all the time. Compounding that, for some strange reason, I have trouble sleeping. Although I took an Ambien last night, I'm up early having only slept very lightly during the night. I'm starting the day exhausted.

I think we are all always tired. I work a full time job and hubby and I have a joke saying about my fatigue because "I always come home and take a nap before I go to bed". I am borderline anemic, so thats pretty much everyday for me. (((BIG HUGS))) I feel your pain, although I am in remission and I know you have been struggling lately with your CD.

I also struggle with anemia. Have you have your Hemoglobin counts checked? I am now taking iron 3x a day and forcing myself to get out and do stuff. Like you, I could lay around all day if I let myself and sometimes I do but that just makes me feel depressed so I make myself get up and get out.

I have to be more active and hopefully this sleepy period will pass. I am always trying to be active and then I get sick. And have to start all over again.

Not that I don't enjoy sleeping :) I have the most amazing bed hehe..

I too am always tired....my legs feel like jello most of the time. I would love to take walks, however I worry I won't make it back home. I have been trying to just walk slower to see if that helps. My iron count goes up and down. The lowest it has been is 9 (if I remember right). I remember my GI didn't really felt I was remembering the wrong count, so he called my family doc and had him fax over the test results.....his comment to me was...."aren't you just tired"....I said well duh...really I did :) I said it as not to offend him, but ya know, lol

Yes I'm always tired. My hemoglobin goes between 8 and 10, and my iron is 3 (should be at 50 to 200 I think). Still work (more than) full time.

I feel your pain.
I used to be little miss go go go... I never stopped. I worked full time, had a full load at college, made sure my house was spotless, cooked dinner, and I also had time for friends and family.
. Now I'm lucky I'd I muster up the energy to pick up the space around me. Its pathetic.

I have the same problem!  I have trouble sleeping nearly every single night, which makes it all the more difficult the next day when I'm supposed to be awake!  I have seasonal allergies and Benadryl makes me sleepy, so sometimes I will take one to help me out, but that doesn't always do the trick.  It sucks, especially if I'm having a lot of diarrhea a particular day... that just absolutely drains me.
