Hi Ann Did they have you on steriods in the hospital ? If they did you have to withdraw slowly.. or it can cause adrenal problems. Perhaps get to the emerg. if you think it could be adrenal shock.. lol gail

I rang the endocrinologist, he said I took two tabs at midnight prior to doing this test and suppressed the cortisol so the reading was ok, as my cortisol was slightly high he wanted to see if I had cushings syndrome cos of years on steroids.
He has discounted that and also a severe condition addison disease is that what its caused.
I sicked up again this morning, bile, a lot of bile.
I had a bloody dreadful day folks.
