Is there any way other than a scope to know if you have inflammation?
I feel like I'm doing OK. Sometimes wake up with sacroiliac pain. Often have gas but nothing like the enraged roaring monster that was in my stomach in peak flare.
If I'm still inflamed, I want to get on mesalamine. I still don't know if mesalamine actually works for me because last time I took it I was too flared for it to be useful. So, if I do go back on it, I would also want to know if it's working. It would be wonderful if there was some way to know without needing the dreaded scope. (It's the prep that I hate).
