a couple of times now, I have had a sudden onset of intense burning from just under my rib cage to my belly button, with queeziness, and sudden hot flashes....has anyone had this before... this is new for me.....

Is it on the right side or the left side? If it is on the right it could possibly be something with your gallbladder...they say that the pain can be felt under your rib cage but I think it maybe more like a stabbing pain. Hopefully someone with more wisdom will be along to answer your question. All the best.
