Here you are; here's the relevant rule:
10. No posts of an overtly political or religious nature OR posts promoting advocacy of particular personal, medical, legal, religious, political, or non-profit causes.
My feeling is that this is a "thin end of the wedge" issue. People from all over the world use this forum. Do we *really* want this forum to be cluttered with lobbyists from New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Britain, the US, Australia, etc etc etc, all lobbying for their unique, though worthy, political causes? I don't.
As the forum rules state,
"The forums are intended for offering mutual personal support"
so I think lobbying can be done elsewhere.
I'm not sure what happened with the bathroom posts. I'm pretty sure I remember editing one, so if others slipped in, unedited, I apologise.
As always, you are always very welcome to take this up with Peter if you disagree with my editing. Mods *can* be wrong
, and Peter also has leeway in interpreting the rules that we mods don't
.
