Oh wow, bar time. You'll do great, though you just need to pass. :) Taking lots of sample tests is key. Did you fork out the money for Barbri (or did your employer)? It's worth it, but annoying too. I'm still waiting for my class action settlement $.

Anyway, good luck and enjoy as much of the summer as you can.

Hey all! Bar studying is doing ok. I feel I am behind but keep reminding myself that I just need to pass...but I would like to pass with some margin of course. We traveled for my husband's 10 year reunion so I missed a couple classes and haven't found time to make them up online. Overall though, it is going well. Yes, I am doing bar/bri but my employer reimbursed me for it. I agree that it is worth it. I am not following their program to a T. There is no way I could dedicate 10+ hours a day to it. I do the class, try to retype my notes at some point into a study guide, and do some practice questions. I haven't been reading the books and probably should... oh well...

I never read the big books. Just the outlines. It wasn't an issue. Going to class and making your own outlines should be enough as long as you are doing okay on the practice questions. I know I was awful at the Multi-state questions at first. Practicing those helped a lot. The Barbri guys know their stuff (they may be better in my state though b/c they are based up the street from my school). They called the essay questions EXACTLY.

Oh, and some of those annoying things the teachers do are worth it. We had this guy Kaufman. He was the best (although I hated him the first day). I'll never forget the way he said "PIERCE the corporate veil" and "dancing, domicile, dancing." Appreciated that on the exam days.
