So chuffed i think the flagyl has worked!!!

Hi All,well i have nearly finished a 10 day course of flagl today thank god! It was ok to take but kept getting cramps in my feet and headaches but it was worth stuggling through its seems to have done the trick so far the fistula has almost stopped leaking i can now just wear a little dressing on it instead of a pediactric stoma bag (the fistula is through old scar on belly just incase anyone thinks its a fistula down there and why is she wearing a stoma bag on it ha ha!!!!!!) i just hope it stays like this once the antibiotic  has finished  S just thought i'd share my good news hope you are all  well as can be expected. Bevx  

Lass, this same thing happened to me and I stopped the flagly and it returned! I would say make sure you KEEP taking the flagyl until it is completely healed. I had to have a seton placed because mine didn't.

It was leaking very badly for awhile, and then my gi started me on flagyl, and it started healing right away, but he didn't give me a refill so I stopped after the ten days, and it's been complications ever since. Please keep taking the flagyl until its all healed.
