WARNING:  The following may gross you out. 

So it's been almost 4-days now since I've been able to have a BM.  The little bit I have expelled has been the size of a cut canned green bean.  I just get big, bloody (and extremely smelly) mucous globs.  My GI doc wants me to do some stool samples to see if my C-Diff has returned and to check for any other kind of bug that may have taken over.  However, this is hard to do when you can't produce a BM to do the samples with. 

So I was wondering if anybody has any ideas for me?

Well try putting that mucousy gunk in the sample jar. Maybe they will be able to get something from that. I remember when first diagnosed I had that alot, and that was the only sample I could give, and they were able to test it. Just a thought!

It's official - POSITIVE, yet again, for C-Diff and Lactoferrin.  It sure explains alot.  rolleyes
