3rd remicade, an update

I had my 3rd remi infusion yesterday. Luckily I only fot very flu like after the first infusion. Now I just get really tired, but the mega dose of benedryl doesn't help that any either.

I haven't seen any improvement with my crohn's symptoms, but except for the 3-4 days before the infusion (which was only 4 weeks apart), I haven't gotten worse. So I guess that is good.

I have seen an improvement in my joint pain though and that is wonderful. Hopefully that will continue to improve. It is nice to have my hands and back not hurting as much and my knees have less pain than I ever remember.

My next infusion is now 8 weeks away, but the dr told me yesterday that if I start getting worse before then to just call and I will just get them sooner than the traditional 8 weeks. I was worried about that since I couldn't go the 4 weeks this time.

So very glad I have good drug insurance that covers 100% of the cost!! Don't know where I'd be without that...
