  I am in the middle of being dx with fibromyalgia and RA possibly.. My primary isn't sure about it, but my iron is low and my ccp is high. Anyway, She is going to make me get a colonoscopy... I have had diarrehia for many years. MY stomach problems started when i was 16. I am now 46. I had my gallbladder removed in my 30's. I assumed it was from that. We shall see I guess. But i never had one, I am abit scared but i will make it!!

How were all of you dx'd? Laura

Me too. Colonoscopy and biopsy is the gold standard for Crohn's diagnosis. Your history sounds very suspicious. Even gallbladder problems can be caused by Crohn's.

Dunno about that...but I think that taking hydrocodone on top of any type of tylenol is a big no no. It has to do with the amount of damage your liver can take. Double check with your doc.

Meanwhile, I had to have 3 surgeries wherein for EACH blessed one, they gave me an upper and lower GI scope. I took the camera pill too; they were always looking for Crohns (all of which came up negative) and all in three months from last week of May to the 3rd week of August. Fast forward five years and surprise, I'm sick again only this time its pancreatitis, then gallbladder disease, then with much copious vomiting; ER room and emergency surgery. I came out of that one to hear I had Crohns. Which I very blearily told the dr. telling me this that they needed to recheck their tests since I'd already been tested for that many times before and it was always negative (dude told me when I was finally coming up from about a week of noooooooo memory...erm, lots and LOTS of pain meds apparently). I didn't believe them when they told me twice more. Then, the GI came in and said he'd done the diagnosis and what was so hard to believe?

Hehe...It can take the longest while for some folks was the fibro fogginess of the story I was trying to work toward. I mean sheesh...doctor's are stupid.

With all the back problems, it almost sounds like AS (Ankylosing Spondylitis). It is treated much the same way as Crohn's and some think that it has the same cause. There is a similar problem that is caused by Crohn's disease, so you can have both together. A form of RA can also result from Crohn's and getting the CD under control will relieve the RA. Anyway, I hope you get a real diagnosis soon.
