You could try cooking the eggs in different ways too. For whatever reason, some people can handle them cooked one way but not another. You could also try eating just the yolk or just the white to see if that makes any difference. But since you're coming off some meds, it may all just be your body adjusting.
I like the cheesecake too! Not everyone does. I've been experimenting with the amounts of DCCC I put in it vs. dripped 1/2 & 1/2 yogurt. More DCCC gives more of a "real" cheesecake texture, but I think I may like the taste of the more yogurt version better. They're both quite tasty though

You'll have to try making the frozen yogurt sometime, it's one of my faves (that is, if you have a sweet tooth).
I didn't use to be much of cook, but I'm getting there. I just spent an hour making ice cream and squash pie filling. Since you like to cook, that's definitely a point in your favor. I think that's why some people give up on SCD. I've heard them say there's nothing to eat. Since there's a ton of stuff to eat, I think the real answer is that they just don't like spending time in the kitchen.
