Medication Question

I am currently taking 2000mg of Salofalk (5 ASA/Mesalamine - other places have other names). My doctor originally told me to take 1/2 in the morning and half at night. That was 4 years ago when I was diagnosed with Crohn's. Recently, after a bad flare, he told me that I could take it all at once, one time in the day. This is because I was complaining about trying to take other things so as not to conflict (vitamin C/metamucil etc.)

I have checked on the medication sites, and I wondered if others are taking their 5 ASA all at once, and how that is working for them.

I split my dose in half as well. I wonder what you mean about medications conflicting though. I take my Pentasa in the morning with my vitamins and other meds and in the evening with a stool softener and Trazadone. To my knowledge the drug does not have any interaction problems (although maybe this varies for different 5-ASAs?).
