I need help have something on may anus :S

I have been having some discomfort in my anus and a little bit of bleeding.
So I took a mirror and checked it out and the is like a tiny round hole in my anus.
I can see it in the mirror and if i stretch it out it goes a little in to the anus/rectum. But if I stretch it all out its like a hole and I have no idea what it is.

Can someone help me is this just some random thing or should I call my doctor :)
He will be glad be cause I always have something fun for him that no one knows what is hehe

Do you understand what I mean?
I don't know how to describe this better have to draw a picture hehe.

Sounds like a fistula. Is it draining?

Yikes, that sounds like a fistula to me as well, the sooner you see the doc, hopefully the better.

Could it be an anal fissure? It is more like a crack or small hole. I have had one for years and it hasn't become infected, just painful at times.

It is just like a perfectly round hole and little bit deep.
I will she how it turns out.

Seems weird that it would be a fistula since you're on Remicade, because Remicade for the most part heals fistulas...but what you are explaining sounds like a fistula, besides the fact that it is not draining.  I'd call your doc to get it looked at to be sure.

A few days ago I was looking for links regarding fistuals (as some on the UC board seem to be dealing with them) and I came across a pic (which of course I cannot for the life of me find anymore) showing an anal fistula that was just as isergodur described. I think it's weird that with being on Remi one would develop but then again this DD can have a mind of it's own afterall.

Well, it does sound like a fistula. I don't remember mine draining right away....but it went away with a week of IV antibiotics and steroids.

My last remi was 20th august so I am due for my next one in one week.
My symptoms always come back about 4 weeks after infusion.
I will have the doc check this out next week.

My doc told me that he has no idea if I have CD or UC he thinks it is more likely that I have UC but I am not that convinced :S
If I have a fistula its CD people with UC don't get them?

Ok just found out what I have with help of Google and Elizabeth :D

Its a anal Fissure I am 100% sure.

That a good thing fissure is just like a sore, right ?

i am not real sure where it is located. If you have a lesion in the rectum cavity (its inside but on bowel wall) that could be any inflammation/fissure/or beginning of fistula canal. If the hole is exterior and away from the anal opening, somewheres on the skin outside the anus then theres a chance stool can exit from the bowl through a fistula canal out this lil hole then its the exit spot of a fistula. I think you say its interior, like within the rectum, so a lil blood spot is not uncommon from bowel stress, but have it looked at. Fissure is more of a crack than hole, imply a salt issue to me, perhaps potassium imbalance.

I have had my fissure as long as I can remember. It came with my good friend the anal skin tag. Although it gets sore and bleeds every now and then I haven't had any problems with it. Good luck!!

I've had fissures before and they've never looked like a round hole, they look like long cuts...you really should get a doc to look at it asap.

Its a fissure..and what you are seeing is scar tissue..because they bleed...they hurt...and then they heal...you should make sure your stools are soft...or if you have D...talk to your doc..about what you can to do..to try to make your bowels better...some people can take Metamucil...use some bag balm..or a&d ointment down there..and massage it into the spot..that increases the blood flow..which encourages healing..don't itch...keep it clean..dab don't rub...and soak...and talk to your doctor...i have had nine of these ...pretty much at the same time or back to back..

ps..the Remicade should help..but it slows down your gut..which makes when you go the bathroom..possibly some straining..or larger more normal like stools...i think Metamucil and lots of water...would help..i am in the same boat on the same med..and pentasa...these darn fissures are a pain..and very hard to heal..but just take care of it and it feel better

also...if you have large tear..it can look like a hole...especially if the fissure is ulcerated..and inflammed..i really think..if it was a fistula..it would drain..at least at one time or another...

Thanks for the help.

It is located on the anus not the skin around and i have to stretch it a little bit out to see it all with the mirror so it goes into the rectum.

I will see my doc next week.
I will just treat it gently :D
