Is Remicade dosage ever adjusted for weight loss?

When my husband gets his infusion, they weigh him before preparing his infusion. So yes, they should be adjusting for weight loss and for weight gain. Typically one gets 5mg of remicade / kg of body weight every 8 weeks. For some people this isn't a high enough dosage, or it doesn't last them the whole 8 weeks, so they may move it up to every 6 weeks. If this is insufficient, they may double the dose of remicade to 10mg/kg.
