MAP sequence

Does the match sequence indicate that the MAP is actually present, or , that a particular sequence of our DNA was found that matches the MAP sequence. If the latter is correct wouldnt that mean that our bodies are creating this sequence which just "happens" to match the DNA of paratuberculosis?

We usually limit resources to recent (less then 10 years old) peer reviewed academic journals on here, because using wikipedia and or common media allows for too much inaccuracy and leads to too many arguements. But I am sure you already knew that. I do not have a degree in the area of your first post to this thread, so I feel that any response on my part would be inadquately researched and lack an accurate frame of the necessary academic background in order to make a competent response.
