I recently started taking Methotrexate along with prednisone to control my Crohn's and it seems to be working very well. My arthritis is almost non-existant and I have felt terrific for weeks but now I have very watery stools most of the time. Anyone know if that is a side effect of Meyhotrexate or something else?

How is your transit time?
Since I have never really completely been out of a flare I cannot answer if it is a side effect or just rapid transit.

I'm on methotrexate but for me I don't think its affects my stools. I have a very quick system which doesn't absorb fat well which for me results in watery, loose, often acidic stools. I take codeine every morning to slow my system right down so I can carry out my day normally and take calcium to help with consistency (discovered this trick on the IBS forum - absolutely brill as Questran etc did nothing for me)
